"Driven & Determined"

“As for her own voice on the tenor, Moreno is a highly thoughtful and precise soloist, with well-planned statements that don't waste any notes.”

"A storyteller, she skillfully navigates groove through odd-meters rhythms on ear-catching compositions"

Multi-award-winning jazz saxophonist and composer from Madrid, she is considered one of her generation's most distinctive voices in the tenor sax. She stands out for an original repertoire that mixes contemporary jazz, Latin-Jazz, African music, Soul, and improvisation. At the same time, her saxophone captivates all types of audiences with stories bathed in passion, energy, honesty, and spontaneity. Critics often define her as "a thoughtful and precise soloist and improviser who knows how to choose meaningful notes with emotional content" (All About Jazz).

Her work has been widely recognized by the international press, including the prestigious American magazine Downbeat Magazine. Her first album, "Little Steps," was awarded by the Global Music Awards in the United States. Her latest album, "Tumaini," was chosen as one of the 20 best of 2021 by NPR Alt Latino in the US.

With an extensive international projection, she has performed on stages and festivals around the world, including the North Sea Jazz Festival, San Sebastian Jazz Festival, Lincoln Center Summer Stage, or Tito Puente Latin Jazz Festival among others. She has shared the stage with renowned musicians such as Regina Carter, John Patitucci, Steve Gadd, Pedrito Martínez, Steve Wilson, Shai Maestro, Troy Roberts, Samuel Torres and Dayme Arocena.
